Charlestown, Shipwreck & Heritage Centre

Charlestown, where they film Poldark and also home to the Shipwreck and Heritage centre which we visited, Picturesque but not very dog friendly, while you can take your pooch into the Heritage centre no local pubs accept dogs, which in damp, cold weather was rather annoying. 

However there was a lovely little craftshop which was selling some charming art work.

Mevagissey

A visit to Shugborough

I was back up my home turf at the weekend to visit the family and whatnot, there was supposed to be a trip to another National Trust place in the offing but alas I got a migraine on the day we were supposed to go. However I did manage to make Shugborough, the house was closed but the grounds were open so my mother and I spent a lovely afternoon there.
