Corfe Castle

Corfe village (not far from Swanage) and its thousand year old castle which was partially demolished in 1646 by the Parliamentarians during the English Civil War.
Fantastic ruins, with stunning views across the Dorset countryside. Oh and a steam train.

Swanage

The day we went to Swanage, weather had gone down hill can you tell by the dramatic lighting?
Had to visit this town as I used to holiday here as a child, a lot hadn't changed but a lot had.

Also Robin!

Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens

Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens, not far from Waymouth where we'd spent the morning. It's like a whole other land hidden away in Dorset. They also have Kookaburras, and a rope bridge which I really didn't enjoy crossing. No photos of that I was busy hanging on for dear life.

Lulworth Castle

Following on from Durdle Door, we went straight over to Lulworth Castle on the same glorious day. However due to being completely shattered I didn't really take a lot of photos. But I do like the few I got in of the castle and the local church.

Durdle Door

Durdle Door in Lulworth Dorset, a beautiful place to visit but the steps/hill are a killer if you're not much of a walker.
